Where do you work: The Dept of Design.
What did you want to be when you grew up: A graphic designer, this is what I originally applied for out of school. It wasn’t until I went for an orientation day at uni in Melbourne I found Interior design. On a whim I applied for it and decided to give it a go. I never looked back.
Something you have always wanted to learn:
Silversmithing.
What are you currently listening to / reading: I’m not a novel reader however I can’t go past a good design blog or design magazine. My current obsessions are est.living and the design files. Endless hours of scrolling.
Question you get asked the most at work: How much does it cost?
Favourite part of the job: Those initial stages getting to know our client’s needs and collaborating with our staff to generate concepts for a new project.
