Wainwright facades hq

There is a new room at Wainwright Facades HQ! Some of the guys have put some time into making a safe space for the workers to de-stress and relax after a hard day’s work. With the emphasis on making mental health a priority whilst at work, we are proud to be able to provide this space for our team. The new room is complete with pool table, dart board and fully stocked fridge. As we are nearing the end of lockdown and restrictions, be sure to get in touch with us for a full tour of the workshop which also includes a hot tub.

Meet an Architect - Adam Hobill

We believe in supporting and promoting connections in our community, so we have decided to introduce you to some of the incredible architects and designers we have had the privilege of working with.

Name: Adam Hobill

Where do you work: Adam Hobill Design

What did you want to be when you grew up: I actually didn’t know…! All I knew was that I liked drawing. I’m lucky that drawing is still big part of what I do. I entrust the computer modelling to those cleverer than me in my team (which is all of them).

Something you have always wanted to learn: How to ride a unicycle… whilst juggling. I can juggle but am rubbish on a unicycle.

What are you currently listening to / reading: I’m currently reading far too many emails, with little time to read anything else sadly. I’m enjoying listening to Bahamas; I only recently discovered their chilled vibes and soulful song writing.

Question you get asked the most at work: How long is a piece of string; which the real question when clients ask, “How much do you think that will cost?”

Favourite part of the job: All of it! What could be more rewarding than helping people bring their dreams to reality. The design process is particularly enjoyable though.
