11 October Newsletter Header.jpg

Only 8 more Fridays until Christmas!

The end of this year has gone so quickly but we are starting to

line up some really exciting projects for next year.

Check out what we got up to in October below.

CROWNE PLAZA CANBERRA FACADE UPGRADE

You might have seen that the Crowne Plaza in Canberra has just started undergoing a façade upgrade. We are working with Project Coordination on a 3,000m2 reclad of the building in James Hardie Matrix and over 3,000 linear metres of sealing existing windows to the façade.

MINDFULNESS MURALS

We have been enjoying watching everyone interacting with our murals as they came to life with colour for Wellness Week at 3 buildings in Canberra over the past 3 weeks. We designed and created the 3 different murals in collaboration with Knight Frank to promote mindfulness.

The mural designs feature each of the buildings they were located in, combined with native flora and sustainability themes. Tenants were encouraged to give their mind a break and get in touch with their inner creative self by colouring in the murals alongside their building community.

PLANT-A-TREE PROGRAM

Our Plant-A-Tree program is now up and running and we have already donated 50 trees this month. We have committed to donate 1 tree for every 10sqm of cladding installed and our employees have also offered to donate out of their wages. We will be running this program through Carbon Neutral Charitable Fund who are currently planting biodiverse native trees in rural Australia in Eurardy, Western Australia.

Stay tuned as we will be sharing more information about this initiative including a Q&A with Wainwright Facades employee Matty Cole.
