The Winnunga AHCS health facility is designed to combine clinical and community health services provision with broader social health and community programs, policy development, research and advocacy, training and community events.

Wainwright Facades will be installing 400m2 of external timber cladding and 350m2 of Cementil Barestone cladding.

Embark

Wainwright Facades was engaged to supply and install 400m2 of Lysaght dominion cladding in Copper Penny and Monument on Embark in Lyneham for Icon. We love how the copper coloured cladding stands out from a distance. If you have caught the light rail down Northbourne Avenue in Canberra recently you might have spotted this new apartment building!

Crowne plaza Canberra facade upgrade

We recently completed the façade upgrade project at the Crowne Plaza Canberra which included 3,000sqm reclad of the building in James Hardie Matrix and over 3,000 linear metres of sealing existing windows to the façade.

It was a pleasure to work with Project Coordination on this job. The job went seamlessly and was completed on time. Congratulations to everyone involved on a great project!

Tree Donations - Icon.jpg

THANK You Icon

We would like to say a big thank you to Icon who have matched our donation of 100 trees for the month of July.

“The combination of the Icon Co and Cockram businesses in 2018 created an unrivalled ability to deliver a fully diversified range of construction services and scale of projects. The inspiration behind the union was to leverage the diverse sector experience of Cockram with the larger D&C experience of Icon Co. Today, we are one of Australia and New Zealand’s largest construction providers with over 80 projects ranging in size from $0.5 million to $400 million and annual revenues in excess of $1.7 billion. With some of the industry’s greatest breadth of sector capability we are able to deliver projects of any size, any scale, anywhere.

We are an Australian contractor with over 150 years of history and proudly part of Kajima Corporation, an $11 billion Japanese construction powerhouse with 180 years’ experience and over 17,000 employees across 20 countries.

We work to benefit the communities in which we work and live and we encourage good corporate citizenship. Across the company we aim to benefit society and have implemented our Community 2-Day initiative, where employees are offered paid leave to allow them to undertake volunteer work with a charity or community organisation of their choice. Rather than it being an afterthought, we aim to make Corporate Social Responsibility second nature, at the heart of every project we undertake. We also regularly provide support to selected charities, fundraisers and disaster relief groups.”
