This month we celebrated our 5th birthday and we can’t believe it has been
5 years already! We also have some exciting news about a new program we have started. Keep reading to find out what it is.
North Rocks Public School
We are looking forward to starting work on the North Rocks Public School project in North Rocks, NSW with INTREC. Wainwright Facades will be installing 900sqm of Equitone externally. The project will cater for the projected enrolment growth in the area and will deliver new permanent innovative learning spaces and an upgrade to core facilities.
The project is scheduled for completion in mid 2020.

PLANT-A-TREE PROGRAM
Last Sunday was National Tree Day, a call to action for all Australians to get their hands dirty and give back to the community. While we didn’t get involved in any of the tree planting activities this year, it has motivated us to start a plant-a-tree program. Initiated by employee Matty Cole, we will be partnering with Wellington Architectural and are committing to plant 1 tree for every 10sqm of timber cladding. Stay tuned as we will be sharing more information about this initiative.

MEET THE TEAM - LAUREN SUTTON
Q. What has been your favourite project to date and why?
A. The pop up installation for World Bee Day. I really enjoyed being involved with the design. It was quite challenging but and I was so happy with how it turned out!
Q. How do you spend your free time, what hobbies?
A. I love getting outdoors and taking photos so any activity that involves either of those is usually what I am doing in my spare time.
Q. If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you do?
A. I would renovate our campervan and spend the next year driving around Australia with my husband.
Q. What’s your favourite food?
A. Potatoes – or anything Japanese or Mexican!
Q. Who has the worst habit in the company and what is it?
A. Joe for thinking the office is a karaoke booth.
Q. Who is your favourite team member and why?
A. Has to be Joe – his passion for work is infectious and it motivates me to do more!
Q. What quote or motto do you live by?
A. Everything happens for a reason

CELEBRATING 5 YEARS
This month we celebrated Wainwright Facades 5th birthday! We are so proud of everything we have achieved in the last 5 years, but it wouldn’t have been possible without all of our amazing clients believing in us and giving us a chance.
