It is definitely business as unusual around here. We are thankful that we are still able to continue working, it just looks a bit different than it used to. We are still keeping a close eye on developments and are following advice appropriately. It is our priority to do everything we can to keep our staff, our clients and the community safe and healthy.

COVID-19 ED

We are proud to be working with Manteena to install 700m2 of custom orb cladding on the temporary COVID-19 Emergency Department (ED) on Garran Oval, adjacent to the Canberra Hospital. The facility is currently under construction and is intended to be fully self-sufficient. Follow Manteena on Facebook if you want to stay up to date with the construction progress.

MLC School Shortlisted in

NSW Architecture Awards

 

The Australian Institute of Architects recently announced that 122 entries across 11 categories have been shortlisted in the 2020 NSW Architecture Awards.

 

We were excited to find out the MLC School Senior Centre by BVN was shortlisted in the Educational Architecture Category. Wainwright Facades installed 700m2 of glass partitioning with a solid victorian ash frames (pictured here in the protruding pods) and 3m high victorian ash glazed doors over 4 levels.

The winners will be announced in the coming months and entries that win a named award or chapter award will progress to National Architecture Awards later in the year.
